Vocational Training and College
Tuition Assistance |
| A.
Qualifying students enrolled in an accredited
vocational training program may be eligible for
a |
| one-time grant. |
| |
|
B. Students who are enrolled in an accredited college
course for studies towards an AA or BA |
|
degree
may be eligible for tuition assistance. |
| |
|
To obtain any of these services, you must come into the
Employment Services Department Office |
|
at the
Seattle Indian Center and complete an intake to
determine your eligibility. Testing will be |
|
required for
entrance into any of our programs. |
| |
|
Intakes are conducted Monday through Friday, 9 am to
3 pm. |
| |
|
For intake eligibility, you must be an |
|
-American Indian, |
|
-Alaskan Native, or a |
|
-Hawaiian Native, and a resident of Martin Luther
King County. |
| |
|
Please bring the following documents:

1. Washington State Picture ID, showing resident
proof of Martin Luther King County. |
|
2. Social Security Card or A Receipt of Reissue |
|
3. Proof of Tribal Enrollment or American Indian,
Alaska Native or Hawaiian |

Native Ancestry (birth certificate). |

4. Proof of Low Income: (A Statement of Earning from
any Washington State |
